Understanding the Frame Design of FX250 and FX315 in the FusingX FX Series
The FX250 and FX315 adopt a unique round-edge steel tube frame, while larger FX models use a thickened steel plate structure. Each design is selected to match the mechanical requirements of its pipe diameter range.
Frame for FX250 & FX315
These two models use a round-edge 90° steel tube frame combined with welded side plates.
This structure provides:
· Strong torsional resistance
· Balanced rigidity during heating and joining
· Stable performance for 250–315 mm pipe welding
It offers an ideal balance of weight and stiffness for medium-diameter applications.
Frame for Larger FX Models
Models such as FX355, FX450, and FX630 shift to a single thickened steel plate due to higher load demands.
Key reasons include:
· Greater clamping force required for large pipes
· Better stress distribution under heavy load
· Improved structural accuracy during long welding cycles
This is an engineering adaptation based on size, not a performance hierarchy.
Consistent FX Series Engineering
Across the FX lineup, all machines follow the same principles:
· Smooth guide movement
· Accurate clamping
· Integrated hydraulic and electrical layout
· Durable construction for long-term field use
